This morning after breakfast, my grandpa went home to be with the Lord. His birthday was on Sunday so we called him, not really knowing how he'd respond, and sang Happy Birthday to him. Our oldest daughter played a song on the piano for him. My mom said he seemed to just sort of perk up somewhat. I am forever thankful for that last moment I was able to speak to him very briefly on the phone and share our last moments together while here on earth. Please pray for our family during this time.
