Proverbs 19:14 "House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord." There are things (and let's remind ourselves they are just THINGS) we may inherit: house, monies, collectible items, etc...but what is from the Lord? "A prudent wife is from the Lord."
What is prudent?
Exercising sound judgment in practical matters:
Are we truthful?
Do we value our friendships?
Do we use sound judgment just facing the everyday challenges that come?
Do we give good advice to others?
Cautious in conduct
How do we carry ourselves?
Are we modest in our dress?
Does our body language convey an immoral way?
Not rash
Be careful!
Do we pray about EVERYTHING or do we make rash decisions?
Do we speak too quickly?
Do we react too quickly?
Let's work on being a prudent wife. Ask the Lord to help as He's the One who enables us to be "a prudent wife is from the Lord."
