WE SURVIVED...the first day of school!!! It wasn't all that bad and they certainly don't have a 'warm-up' time for the kids...they go right into teaching and learning. Whatever happened to getting to know the teacher, doing FUN stuff the first few days...guess those days are gone along with several other GOOD OLE DAY things. I am SO thankful for DVD Homeschool...what a relief for me this year. I was just absolutely crazy last year so this year hopefully I'll be a 'normal' mom...whatever that is!!! Now I have to work at keeping a 2 year old quiet and entertained so I am back to playing dollhouse, dressing dolls, making burping sounds for the dolls (not actually burping okay--I PROMISE), so I feel YOUNG again!
Hope your day has went as well as mine...gotta go clean up the house while the three older ones are outside, baby is sleeping...and definately before hubby gets home from work!
