I SURVIVED!

Oh my...this has been a weekend and a half. My yard sale is over...PRAISE THE LORD! And as so many times before, I tell myself NEVER AGAIN! I ended up making a good bit of money (any amount helps out right?) so it was worth it--planning to take the girls on a mini-vacation trip soon. I am not sure it was worth it out in the heat and it definately wasn't worth it when it was time to clean-up. It's like cooking, I LOVE to cook but I don't like to clean-up. We survived though and actually one of my friends said she may have a yard sale in a couple weeks, so I am going to 'reyard sale' (I know that's not a word but I like to make them up) my stuff AGAIN!!! Maybe I can make some more. Anyways, we all had a good time. It was so cute to watch our littliest one 'shop' while we had our stuff out there. She LOVES shoes and I had TONS of baby shoes...I was actually ashamed to put them out there thinking this has to be a sin to have this many baby shoes (they don't even wear them for the most part). She loved my houseware things as well...especially the glass items :-) Then she got entertained pouring water from one container to another (her sister's drinks) and she ended up with a partial bath -- she got cooled off though. After my husband got home from work, I crashed on the couch. I left stuff out there and said "We'll clean it up later". I NEVER take a nap during the day - unless I'm pregnant - and before rumors get started I AM NOT!!!! I just was T - I - R - E - D!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll try to post a new devotional thought this week.
