10. A Dental Appointment Card

Romans 10:9-10 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

Ladies, we need to be sure there's been a point and time we've asked Jesus to forgive us and cleanse us from all our sins! I remember the day the Lord saved me...October 1997 on a Sunday morning after the service. A missionaries wife took me into the nursery and right next to the changing table I took Jesus as MY personal Lord and Saviour.

11. Checkbook

Romans 14:2 "So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God."

Now, are we going to give an account for Susie or Sally or the lady that tends to get a little under our skin? NO!!! (Not unless your name is Susie or Sally or that lady that tends to get under everyone's skin) We will give an account for ---YOUR NAME---! We need to spend more time examining our own failures and weaknesses instead of judging others!

12. Breathmints

Psalm 150:6 "Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord."

Let's go out and share our testimony and praise the Lord for the great things HE HATH DONE! Don't think He's done a lot for you? Do you remember what HE did at Calvary? That alone is enough to PRAISE HIM for and share the wondrous love of our Saviour.

So the next time you are searching (and for most of us it is a pretty scary search) through your purse to find one of these items, remember what 'spiritual' lesson can be learned from that simple item.
