We had a good time at our Young at Heart Breakfast. Talk about some good food....we had biscuits, a LARGE variety of HOMEMADE preserves, gravies, large fruit trays, donuts, delicious casseroles....I think this breakfast thing will be a repeat. They really outdid themselves on the meal. Then we had one of our YAH men give a devotional. What a challenge! He even wrote a poem specifically to go along with our theme "Early Will I Seek Thee". We played a game where they had to pick their favorite barn-yard animal, but not a rooster. Then they had to write down 5 numbers between 1- 25. Each time their number was called, they had to make the sound of their animal. When all 5 numbers were called they had wrote down, then they yelled out 'COCK-A-DOODLE-DO'. It was really funny to watch them do this. I had a small portion on video so I'll try to download it. We had a great time. Looking forward to taking them to Cody Creek to eat and then our Christmas Fellowship theme is "Flee From The Flurries" (Giving Our Worries Over To The Lord). We have some fun things planned for that as well!!!!
