I am so looking forward to going to a Ladies Conference this weekend! I am overdue for a break from the everyday life of a stay-at-home wife and mother! Just last night - while my hubby was at a deacons meeting til like midnight - I had MORE ants appear (and I couldn't find my grits to put out at first but FINALLY found them and this morning they are ALL gone---grits work), the girls must have devoured the sugar bowl because they were full of energy I am much in need of right now, there were dishes, dishes and more dishes, school papers piling up to be graded - but no motivation on my part to complete that task, we had a cup of milk spilled on the kitchen floor, then to top it all off---our 2 year old decided to get 'yucky' sick on the kitchen floor --so what was next? Well, I finally got them down and went to sleep--failing to wait for my hubby to get home from his meeting. I know by tomorrow after the last session, I'll be on Mount Everest but also realize Satan will try his best to work overtime on me! With all the challenges you receive when you go to a ladies conference, you leave feeling like there IS hope to becoming a better wife, mother and most importantly a better Christian -- then BOOM -- Monday hits and it's overloaded with challenges you vowed to better yourself at, right? Well, just remember when you fail, pick yourself up and move on!!! May you have a blessed weekend!
