Well, my day started out a little before 6 am when I woke up so anxious about going to yard sales! I normally take my oldest daughter with me...as she's the only one who at this point seems to have the same 'shopping spirit' as I do...I LOVE TO SHOP!!! So we get up and get ready. Before we leave I look at her and say "I hope this is worth it cause mommy could really use some extra sleep right now. But if we don't go we'll wonder all day what we missed and if we do go, we'll find out what we'd missed out on---worth it or not!" Well, it was well worth getting out. I think I just went to my last yard sale for this year but I went out with a BANG! :-) I took some pictures of some of my goodies I found...I'll post them later. I got 4 pillows, 3 really nice CLEAN DVD movies for the girls, 2 nice rugs, 2 really nice lamps, a tooth brush holder that perfectly goes with my new master bath decor, my daughter got a monkey wallet---all into monkeys right now--until next week, oh, the girls a jean skirt...and I know I'm leaving out some things!! Anyways, I was thrilled!
I am trying to gradually change my decor to more warm colors, rustic browns, sage, maroons...so at each little yard sale I seem to be getting more and more CHEAP goodies!
Our oldest daughter had her treatment today so my hubby normally takes her down there for that LONG ordeal but it's worth it cause it's helping her out immensely..PRAISE THE LORD! So I decide to paint my kitchen and dining room...with 3little ones left at home. What a challenge but I was determined to do it all BY MYSELF...double coat of paint even. Goal was accomplished and now I am starting to ache. So if in the morning I wake with aches and pains, I'll go in and just glow with a smile looking at what I accomplished!! It looks so warm and beautiful. I'll post a picture. Gotta run. It's bathtime for all the kiddos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
