Yesterday, while on the phone with my mom who lives like 4 states away, we were talking about grocery shopping. She was on her way home from grocery shopping so we were talking about how each week prices still seem to be going up. You spend more and come out with WAY less. I had went shopping on Thursday and was speaking to a lady in front of me in line about different things and of course the issue of grocery prices rising came up. I made the comment, "Well, there is one thing for certain, if you want to get depressed--just go grocery shopping."
So while I was having this conversation with my mom on the phone I said something along the line "I don't know what people are going to do." Out of the other room came this response from our 8 year old daugther, "JUST PRAY"!!! Now to myself I was thinking, "Okay, you are 8! You have NO concept of financial hardships; trying to make ends meet; you haven't come to the knowledge of knowing money doesn't grow on trees" But at the same time, I was humbly reminded to "JUST PRAY" by someone with truly a child-like faith. The child-like faith is what I need during times like this. God does provide--prayer does work--and that is exactly what we need to do...as simple as it sounds...JUST PRAY!
So ladies, remember...no matter the hardships, no matter the trials, no matter the bank account situation, no matter the difficulties you may be facing...take it from an 8 year old------JUST PRAY!!!!!!!!!
