God Tops Our Life With So Many "Goodies"
On hot summer days, there is nothing like having a good bowl of ice cream -- homemade is even better. While home at my parents, my mom made homemade ice cream twice -- vanilla and then fresh peach ice cream. It was SO good. Not long ago for our 2nd daughters b-day, we each made our own ice cream sundae from various toppings. Just like those delicious calorie filled ice cream sundae's, God tops our life with so many 'goodies' as a Christian.
GOD TOPS OUR LIFE WITH LOVE!!
Love is what God is, and what we ought to be. Take the time to read the "Love Chapter" of the Bible - I Corinthians 13 and shed the love of Jesus to each and every person you come in contact with while you are out--and don't forget to share that same love with those within your home.
The girls learned a little chorus at a camp that goes:
If you want to have friends
You've got to be a good friend
Living the love of Jesus
Others notice and come
Drawn to the love of Jesus!
Are others drawn to you and I by the love of Jesus we show to them?
