Luke 23:34 is a perfect example of longsuffering. "Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots." Of all times we need to practice longsuffering is during times of afflictions, annoyances, and persecutions. I am sure thankful Christ was longsuffering for myself and for my husband. I am sure if you are saved you're grateful for the longsuffering of Christ. As hard as it may be at times, what a testimony as a Christian to be one who is longsuffering just as our Saviour was and still is! Take time today to thank the Lord for His longsuffering!
