Our 2nd daughter celebrated her 8th birthday yesterday. We actually held a little party on Sunday and opened gifts and had birthday 'sundaes' instead of cake! Everyone got to dress up their own ice cream in a waffle bowl. It was a lot of fun and different from the ordinary birthday cake. Yesterday was her actual birthday so we took her out to eat and went to Chuck E Cheese. They always have a blast playing the games there. I also took her shopping at Cato's (our favorite clothing store) and Target! She is at the stage of loving shopping...that isn't good on daddy's wallet though! I praise the Lord God has blessed her with health and strength...May the Lord bless her with MANY, MANY more birthdays!
