My Mom's Potato Soup

6 medium potatoes, peeled and diced
1 can creamy chicken mushroom soup (I use a large can)
1 purple onion chopped
3 stalks of celery chopped (I don't put this in as I don't care for celery)
1 sm can of mushrooms
1 small can of fiesta nacho cheese soup (found in soup area)
marg, salt, pepper to taste
3/4 c milk (may have to add a little more depending on texture)

Cook potatoes in water just covering them with 1/4 stick of butter. Saute onion, celery, mushrooms in butter. Once potatoes are done, drain the broth until it is right below the top of the potatoes. Add the chicken soup; cheese soup; the sauteed mixture; salt and pepper to taste; milk. Lower heat so the soup will simmer but stir often as it will tend to stick.
