Our Home - A Testimony
Well, we finally had our first home showing this past Saturday. After speaking to the realtor though, the living room isn't big enough for their amount of furniture but that's okay. It's a start. As my husband was speaking with the realtor (one other than the one we listed the house under) on the phone, he mentioned how he really enjoyed seeing all the scripture and wording on the walls. I have several little sayings from Uppercase Living on the walls, then plaques and different things with verses or spiritual sayings on them and in our girls room I've painted verses on the wall---before I knew about Uppercase Living :-) As my husband was telling me what he said, it made me stop and ponder the thought "Our home can be a testimony to others even if they don't end up buying it". Even though you may not have your house on the 'market' to sell so to speak, our home can and I believe should be a testimony to what we believe and WHO we believe in. How many scriptural sayings do you have or scriptural thoughts? You never know what may spark a conversation if you allow your home to be filled with spiritual thoughts and scriptural verses.
