Encourage Someone With A Compliment
Don't you just love it when someone compliments you on your outfit, your hair, or just how nice you look today, or how well behaved your kids are (and you wish they'd be that way at home sometimes :-) )? Everyone loves a compliment! Do you have a bus ministry in your church? Why not take some time to encourage those children who probably come from homes where they never hear, "Wow! You look so nice!" "OH, what a colorful picture you colored." "You have such a beautiful smile." A lot of those bus kids just seem to be starving for someone to show them a little love -- You'll never know how far the smallest compliment will go when someone needs an encouraging, uplifting word! If you have a bus ministry, this Sunday, make it a point to HONESTLY compliment some of the bus children! They need to see Christ love in and through us and what a sweet way by just sharing a sweet compliment with them about themselves! I am sure it will put a ray of sunshine in their day!---and then don't forget YOUR LITTLE MISSIONFIELD WITHIN YOUR FOUR WALLS -- they could always use an extra compliment as well !
