Yesterday after taking Destiny to the doctor and doing a little shopping...I came home to some UNWELCOMED guest....ANTS!!! The girls had helped me make homemade donuts (with biscuits) yesterday morning and I didn't realize they'd dumped a good bit of powdered sugar in the kitchen/dining room! So anyways the ants were having a feast when I got home.
A friend of mine (THANKS CHEREE) told me someone mentioned using dry GRITS to get rid of ants. I am always leary about using actual bug sprays etc. since we have small children in the house. IT WORKS...I just got a little bit of dry grits and sprinkled in the area and they are GONE. It is easy to clean up as well once they are gone. I even sprinkled some a long the edge of our front porch in the crack between the house and porch and NO ANTS!!! Hope this helpful tip proves to be of help to you fighting these little critters!
